Professional Development: Navigating Finances in the Time of Covid-19
Presented By: Kenney White -- Assistant Director of Residence Life - Residential Education; University of Wisconsin- River Falls
Kenney will be talking about how to navigate personal and institutional finances during this uncertain time. Kenney will highlight the ways your stimulus check can be spent or invested and will talk about ways to be financially well while working in residence life. Kenney will also talk about how institutions navigate financial challenges and how we as residence life can support them!
Networking & Breakout Discussions:
Following Kenney’s presentation we will head into two breakout rooms using Google Meets. Breakout Room 1 is for entry-level/mid-level staff who support student staff and are live on. Break Room 2 is for mid-level/ senior housing officers who are live off. We hope that by breaking the group up we will be able to talk about different challenges being faced by live on staff verse live off and the different levels of decision makers!

We will be sending an email out to SHOs out on May 1st with the different applications for review and asking SHOs to get back their selections the following week. Announcements for the Operations Chair, Networking Chair, and Social Media Chair will be made the week of May 4th.
